The EBRD and Agribusiness
The EBRD is the single biggest investor in the agribusiness sector in Russia, south eastern Europe, Central Asia and central Europe. The EBRD agribusiness team has a track record of over 300 projects worth around €4.5 billion with both multinationals and local companies. The team’s specialists have strong market knowledge in the region, and offer flexible and innovative products.

What we're doing
The EBRD’s involvement in the agribusiness sector spans all activities throughout the production chain, from farming, processing and trading to food distribution, packaging and retail.

The Bank also plays a major role in developing the sector by supporting local and foreign corporate clients as well as micro, small and medium sized enterprises
